Sony announced the RX10 V on July 9, 2026. This recap was checked October 25; it is not a hands-on review.
Announced hardware
Sony lists a roughly 20.1-megapixel, 1.0-type stacked sensor and an integrated 24–600mm-equivalent f/2.4–4 zoom. AI-assisted subject recognition accompanies bursts up to 30 fps with autofocus and exposure tracking, using the electronic shutter. Shooting conditions can reduce that speed.
The camera also supports 4K 120p recording, with a narrower angle of view. These are manufacturer specifications, not ClearTech measurements.
Regional availability
The European announcement listed £2,200 or €2,500 pricing. It does not establish current US or Canadian pricing or stock; check the regional listing before ordering.
